On December 14, 2017, I was given the CraftBoston Award of Distinction in Fiber, Decorative by the Society of Arts and Crafts. This is the second year in a row that I have been so honored at CraftBowton!
If you have ever been curious about weaving, here is your chance! Come for a day and go home with a scarf or something for your table or wall. No experience necessary. I charge $100.00 for a day of weaving, materials included. If you decide weaving is something you would like to get more involved with, take one of my other classes or come in for Friday and Saturday mentorship sessions. The day experience runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call Gretchen for more information, 508-221-3992

“Runner” was completed a number of years ago when I was still silk screening on the warp and finished double woven fabric. This piece is hanging in our tiny upstairs hall along with a mobile created by our son. The balance of black and white is stunning.
